ZKTel launched SC-APC and LC-APC products

ZKTel has launched our new products SC/APC and LC/APC components and transceivers. This series of optical modules is specially designed to meet customers' customized requirements of APC end-face. Once launched, it is widely praised by our clients both local market and overseas.

Optical fiber connectors can be divided into PC (Physical Contact) and APC (Angled Physical Contact) according to the end face shape. The end face of the APC connector is generally ground to an Angle of 8°. APC is the latest technology of optical fiber end grind. Its end face is ground at an Angle of 8 degrees, which makes its end face lapping more accurate and can effectively reduce reflection, and the return loss is about -60dB.  

Note: Return loss (also known as reflection loss) refers to the reflection caused by impedance mismatch in the fiber optic link. It is the reflection of a pair of lines themselves.  This percentage of reflected light is usually expressed as -dB, the higher the value, the better. 

APC optical transceiver has better return loss than UPC optical transceiver on the market.  This feature enables such pluggable devices to be used in a wider range of applications and improves the transmission performance of optical modules.
